Job Title: Part-Time/Full-Time General Laborer
Location: Greater Atlanta Metroplex
Company: Atlanta Blasting Professionals Inc.
Introduction:
Atlanta Blasting Professionals Inc is experiencing unprecedented demand for our restoration services business and we are seeking motivated part-time/full-time General Laborers to support our operational needs. No prior experience is necessary, and we will provide paid training to ensure your success. Our services include surface restoration using sandblasting, pressure washing, welding and painting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager and head of operations in job preparation, including masking and setup and breakdown..
- Maintain a clean and orderly worksite.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate equipment such as leaf blowers, brooms, and shovels for media removal.
- Proactively manage the worksite based on the needs of operators and customers.
- Load blast pots once an hour
Must-Haves:
- A clean record (background checks will be conducted).
- High level of motivation and reliability.
- Reliable transportation to and from worksites (no Uber).
- Punctuality and readiness to work on arrival.
- Ability to follow simple instructions and follow through
- Willingness to work long hours, including some Saturdays.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift 50 lbs over your head.
- A positive attitude and good work ethic.
Minimum Requirements:
- Steel-toed work boots.
- Must reside in the Greater Atlanta Metroplex.
Ideal Candidates:
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, cement, delivery, or other physically demanding roles.
- Candidates with a military background will receive top consideration.
Compensation:
- Training lasts up to 2 weeks at a rate of $16.50 per hour.
- Hourly wage will increase after successful completion of training.
